This summer, Royal Exchange’s piazza has been the place to be. Our Sunshine Series brought together free events, workshops and feel-good moments for the local community, and what a season it’s been.

For the first Sunshine Series event we hosted our very first Flower Workshop at Royal Exchange Kingston, led by the brilliant Flower Tonic team. It was a relaxed afternoon of making, chatting and slowing down a little, with everyone heading home with their own hand-tied bouquet.

Sip & Create brought a creative twist to the piazza, with sold-out painting workshops hosted by The Messy Table. Guests spent the afternoon relaxing with a brush in hand, sunshine overhead and plenty of good conversation.

Pilates & Sip paired a free reformer Pilates class with LevelOut with a summer cooler from &KAFFEIN‘s Land Rover Defender coffee bar. Held every other Wednesday, it welcomed everyone from complete beginners to seasoned reformer regulars for a relaxed evening of movement and good company.

Run The Exchange gave the community a free, sociable way to move together, with relaxed evening runs led by UBX trainers every other Tuesday. No pressure on pace, just a friendly way to get out and meet people locally.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made this summer’s Sunshine Series such a success. The good news? This is only a taste of what’s to come.

Keep an eye on our website and follow us on social media to be the first to hear about upcoming events at Royal Exchange. We’d love to see you there.
